4 New Tools for 2017

Wednesday, 12 April 2017  |  Scott

at WCW, we may not produce newsletters in the traditional sense, but we do like to keep everyone up to date with the latest happenings of the industry.

We're now into the new tax year and so far 2017 has seen some great products!

On that note, here's an overview of some products we've seen released so far in 2017.

The Unger HydroPower RO

Released at the cleaning show in March, the HydroPower RO is set to revolutionise the technology being fused into RO/DI Window Cleaning systems.

Mike talks us through the main features in the video below.

The HydroPower RO comes in at £99.00 + VAT per month. To find out more, drop us a line. Be aware availability is heavily limited.

Vistal - UPVC Cleaner/ Restorer

Vistal has only recently hit our shelves and has been popular from the get-go. It's an ecological answer to cleaning faded UPVC & powder coating.

Vistal has a neutral PH, is safe to use without gloves, doesn't blacken seals like some solvent based products and protects UPVC's for up to 9 months.

At £15.75 + VAT per tub, Vistal represents great value for money and could be a great addition to any window cleaners toolbox. Head over to our Facebook page and see Vistal in action by clicking HERE

Unger Stingray

Whilst the Stingray isn't a new product, Unger have released a range of new Stingray Accessories to enhance the indoor cleaning power, and a range of new package deals.

Deep Cleaning Pad

The Deep Clean Pad was introduced to give that extra help on first cleans or for those particularly dirty windows you periodically come across. Though it is fundamentally the same shape, the Deep Clean Pad is considerably thicker and able to cope with a lot more dirt.

Stingray Bag

The Stingray bag now means you can arrive to your interior cleans with your equipment neatly packaged and looking professional.

You don't get a second chance at a first impression and you certainly can't underestimate who is taking notice of your work. Now you have a lightweight and durable solution to transporting your interior cleaning kit.

Reinforced Unit

The Stingray Unit itself has been subtly changed since its inception to make it stronger, more durable and better suited to its job, though this is an ongoing process, the current Stingray Unit is stronger and more resiliant than its ever been.

Ladder Limb

Okay we cheated a little on this one. We actually introduced the Ladder Limb late last year but it was only early this year did we bring it to the forefront.

The Ladder Limb simply insterts into the ladder as you can see in the image below, and can be used to hold buckets, paint tins or anything similar. It really is that simple, and for £16.00, its a handy item to keep in the van that can solve a big annoyance.

The Ideal Start-Up Package

5 CommentsThursday, 16 February 2017  |  Scott

** UPDATE ** - This package can now be financed with a van for £204 + VAT per month (Citreon Berlingo). This is subject to a £1500 deposit over 5 years. There is no final balloon payment. Contact us at info@windowcleaningwarehouse.co.uk to get this package.

Van-mounted systems can be expensive.

There are no two ways about it: High-end kit comes with a high-end price tag.

And it's always the high-end kit that gets the most hype and draws the most attention.

For some, the additional functionality provided by these systems is completely necessary.

That said, it's the low cost just what you need systems that ultimately are the bread and butter of the industry. They are what a large percentage of Window Cleaners use on a daily basis. This could include:

  • A traditional Window Cleaner looking for a cost effective option to go water-fed.
  • An operational water-fed business looking for a second van or a small tank for a single operator
  • A business operating in a soft water area that has no need for an RO/DI  system.

Of course, the applications are endless. We've even recently had the owner of a Carpet cleaning business pick up one of our Compact tanks.

The Ideal Start-Up Package is a setup designed to keep the cost down as much as possible and we've done this in two ways. Firstly we've included only what's necessary, a FaceLift Compact DI system delivered to your front door (which includes a hose reel fitted to the top) and a 22ft FaceLift Phoenix Hybrid pole (complete with brush and fittings). Secondly, we've pulled some strings and got a great price, and even managed to get a great rate for those looking to finance their systems.

Of course, the system package can be customised;

  •  Want us to fit the system for you? That can be arranged!
  •  How about upgrading to a full Carbon Fibre Pole? That can be arranged!
  •  What about a PowerUP! HD powered reel? That can be arranged!

The package is completely customisable, however, to give you a look into what the Ideal Start-Up Package costs, see below.

The Ideal Start-up Package - 325 Litre

  • FaceLift Compact DI system - 325 Litre
  • FaceLift Phoenix 22ft Hybrid Pole.
  • Complete Fitting Kit  (No wiring necessary, just charge & go!)

  • Financed - £23.00 + VAT/ Month (No Deposit - 60 repayments)
  • Buy It Now Price - £1,000 + VAT

Optional Upgrade - PowerUP! HD

The powered reel upgrade is a popular one with our Compact tanks. To upgrade this package would take the monthly payments to £28.73. Certainly worth considering for an extra few pounds!

The Ideal Start-up Package - 425 Litre

  • FaceLift Compact DI system - 425 Litre
  • FaceLift Phoenix 22ft Hybrid Pole.
  • Complete Fitting Kit  (No wiring necessary, just charge & go!)

  • Financed - £25.30 + VAT/ Month (No Deposit - 60 repayments)
  • Buy It Now Price - £1,100 + VAT

Optional UpgradePowerUP! HD

The Powered reel upgrade is a popular one with our Powered reels. To upgrade this package would take the monthly payments to £31.03. Certainly worth considering for an extra few pounds!

Now as ever, we like to put pricing into perspective. If you opted to finance the system, you could cover the cost of the system within the first 2-3 houses of each month. That's an hour or two's work each month to recoup the cost of the system.

And don't fall into the trap of thinking that because the equipment doesn't have a big price tag that it won't be sufficient, here's what two customers had to say about the FaceLift Compact systems:

'Excellent Machine, Good quality hose reel, it's great the way the reel is located on the tank itself and it's easy to install in the van... Would recommend this product to anyone who wants a water system that is easy to install'

Richard N.

'Fantastic piece of kit, the powered reel is a must, I'm over the moon with mine.'

Mike D.
