Better quicker safer and easier than ropes anyday. Especially if your window cleaners are not great at dolly knots. Also more secure - can padlock to
roof bars. Downside of this particular design is that it is possible to straighten out the loop that attaches to roof bars if they are over tightened.
The clamp can be improved by a 12mm nut screwed down as far to the loop as possible - this stops the clamp bar coming off the end. Also a 12mm cap nut
on top when the rubber is lost will prevent a cut hand on the bare threads.
